As the sun starts to shine, the work and inspiration starts to pour out of me. I get so excited for this kind of annual rebirth. I love how much my process and business mimic the seasons and allow for rest and reflection during the winter months and then come Spring it all blossoms!
APRIL:
LAUNCHED MINIS
LAUNCHED THE CYANOTYPE CREATION KIT
FINISHED THE 2 MONTH TULIP COLLECTION (and put it out for you all to enjoy! I’m so proud of it!)
and
GOT INTERVIEWED BY MY FRIEND LUCY FOR HER MEMBERSHIP
HAD A PHOTOSHOOT WITH TRACI
HAD A GREAT MEETING WITH MY WONDER MASTERMIND ALL ABOUT GROWING YOUR AUDIENCE
and
still managed to have a lot of fun hiking, biking, picnicking and celebrating family members.
A few take-a-ways from this month:
Get outside! (I know, you guys think I am a broken record, but seriously. It helps.) You don’t have to be in nature, just walking down the city street, breathing in some fresh air, getting away from these screens, being present to the world around you, it matters. It helps.
Do something (safe) with a friend. Gosh I have missed friends. I am fully vaccinated and still quite cautious but also feeling a bit safer to hug my people and enjoy some company. I (as you know) love being outside so much so I’m still doing most of the fun outdoors but as the weather gets nicer going out for a drink with friends or co-working together outside of a coffee shop really changes the mood. For the good!
For my artist/creative friends, this podcast!
Smell the flowers! I went to Longwood and spent an hour nose-to-the-tulips. Boy was that fun!
Support your friends! I managed to see Tina Crespo’s gorgeous work at Occasionette in Collingswood, NJ, and two friends in magazine features (Emily Jeffords in In Her Studio and Genna Blackburn in Origin Magazine)
Oh these minis! Do I have a super fun surprise for you for June! Stay tuned. Hop on the email list if you are not already to be notified about the next MINIS launch!
