Garden first: You can see my garden stones before. They just weren’t cutting it. So out they went and in came my DREAM COME TRUE: A tons of gravel dust and Belgian Block and LOTS of plants! And the other HUGE thing: I finally painted that dreadful shed. Long ago I thought a bright orange shed would be fun but it really wasn’t any fun at all. It didn’t go – at all! So I finally painted it the color I have always wanted: black! I have been designing a shed and deck to run that length of the back of my yard (in this thrid photo it is all the way to the right) and will likely build it the summer of 2022.

The garden prep was all in an effort to create the most beautiful setting for the Chester County Studio Tour where I hosted Jackie Henisee as my guest artist this year! It was a blast and the weather was perfect! (Photos below) It’s always helpful to use people coming over as an excuse to do the things that need doing! Don’t you think?
And my brother and I got to celebrate my Mom for her birthday and Mother’s Day at Longwood Gardens and Styer’s Peonies! It was such a great day!
